Ruth Certified you are not permitted to be on the field or in the
dugout during the games.
WE HAVE A WINNER!! The 50/50 Raffle was our first fundraiser for the season and was
a great success. Our players and parents were able to raise a
total of $1131.00 The winner of the raffle was drawn during our
board meeting on April 20th by a player on our 8U girl's softball team.
Veer Right Management Group out of Wilson was the winner of the
raffle and was entitled to half of the money in the amount of $565.50.
When the board contacted the owner of Veer Right Management Group
the owner graciously donated the winnings back to the association.
A Big Thank you! The money allowed us to fully stock the concession stand and purchase items for field preparation.
With
that said we are preparing to kick off a new fundraiser. We will be
selling Candy Man peeler coupon books. This fundraiser will
enable us to purchase trophies for our players to be awarded at a
Family Fun Day event that we would like to have for our players.
We will pre-sell the coupon books, all orders and money will have
to be turned in to your head coach by May 31st. The player that
sells the most will be awarded with 4 box seat tickets to the Carolina
Mudcats. Along with planning the Family Fun event, we would use
the money raised to purchase t-shirts and magnets with the New Hope
Logo to sell in our concession stand. We are also planning our
1st Annual Coaches/Parents Softball Challenge in August. We would
also like to remind you that parents are always welcomed and encouraged
to attend our monthly board meetings It is important to know what
is ahppening with the association and with our future plans.
